The Immersion workshop is an opportunity to fully immerse oneself in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies. Participants can expect to enhance kinesthetic awareness, develop movement connectivity, hone observation and coaching skills, and come away with articulate movement language in this week-long workshop.

The course physically and theoretically examines all major components of the Laban/Bartenieff System. In conjunction with a supportive community this workshop explores the somatic system of Irmgard Bartenieff and her Basic Six Exercises, Integrated Movement Studies’ Patterns of Total Body of Connectivity, and Laban’s theories of Effort, Shape and Space Harmony.

NOTE - Completing payment is the last step of the registration process. Both payment options will reserve your seat in the workshop. If selecting the “Deposit only” option, the remaining balance must be paid by January 2 to participate in the workshop.
